Hey guys (and gals?),
I'm sure this has been covered elsewhere, but I couldn't find mention of it in the stickies. I was a huge fan of MW3 and MW4, and one thing I recall really enjoying was a gamemode in which you selected a number of mechs from your bay, and they were deployed in sequence, 1v1, against an opponent. Each mech destroyed was followed by the next, until one player ran out of mechs.
I realize that MWO is at its heart a team game, and I don't wish to detract from that, but I know that a huge part of the fun of the game is the opportunity to duel isolated opponents. That said, if both you and your opponent are isolated in anything going less than 100kph, chances are you're just lucky the other team is poorly coordinated, and you're hurting your team's chances of success by not contributing to the furball.
Are there any plans for a 1v1, multiple-mechs mode of any sort? I'm sure there are a number of potential players who would feel more comfortable stumbling on their own before diving into the team aspect of the game. It also requires you to have multiple mechs skilled up and kitted for 1v1, in addition to whatever you're bringing to the 8v8 scene (no LRM boats here), which translates to more $$ for PGI.
Just my $0.02. (Also, first post!)

I heard that there might be a team dropship mode. I have not heard anything about 1 v 1 though. Not sure if 1 v 1 will ever make it into the game. Dropship mode is the closest thing I want to respawn. Anything closer is crazy and stupid.
