So I recently purchased a logitech g300 mouse and tried to play Mechwarrior Online with it, but despite being able to bind "fire weapon group 2" to mouse 2 (right click), it doesn't let me fire using mouse 2. On the last patch I was using my old razor mouse with no problems, and this patch is the only patch where I have tried to use this mouse.

To troubleshoot, I tried to use the secondary binding of "fire weapon group 2" which was key "2" and it fired correctly. I also tried setting "fire selected weapon group" to mouse 2, and that would not work as well. I even went into my mouse settings and set the middle click on my mouse to mouse 2, loaded up MWO and tried using that, and it also did not work.

To be clear, right click (mouse 2) appears to work in all other applications and programs besides MWO.

So. My conclusion is some really bizzare and frustrating black magic is happening, and I can't figure it out. If anyone has the same mouse and is experiencing issues, or if anyone has noticed anything else that might be the issue, I would appreciate your help.

Edit: added mouse and MWO settings http://imgur.com/a/Q7pXY#H0nia

Same problem here.. i have a logitech g700..

Try to do that :

1 - go into the settings, assign a new button for weapon group 2

2 - save

3 -return into the setting pannel and re-assign mouse button 2 to weapon group 2

4 - save

This should work for the next game only, so you should do this for each game..

I also have this problem and it is driving me insane. What on earth is the problem with "mouse button 2"? I know my mouse works just fine with everything else, and I even got a new one today to check. Same problem. I can bind it to mouse button 3 and then back to 2 and then it works but what the hell? Seems like a really basic problem to be having at this point (being that I have paid money and all).

OP should have stayed with Razer.

Apparently, Logitech software and MW:O are having problems working together.

Anyway ... y'all have mailed Support about this, right? If not, do so. If you have, do it again.
