I don't know where you guys are in production right now, but I really suggest you give a listen to this guy's music and see if he's available. I've been a fan of his ever since I first heard Knights of the Pacific (which would sound awesome linked to Mech battles :))

Hows about allowing the use of a persons iTunes play list from within the game.
and a selection of voice styles for the cockpit computer voice.
