[Violent Tendencies]

I was not able to take advantage of the founders packages when they were previously available. I was wondering if they (or something similar may be) offered in the future?

I believe one of the devs mentioned that there may be something similar in the future. I would hazard a guess and say it will have something to do with the clans. Maybe preorder a timberwolf and get a special clan wolf colour scheme or something.

The founder's programme was a one time deal for the four mechs. Was on for quite a while.

at this time, the founder status is basically a neat icon next to your name in the post battle stats... on the technical side you are better off with a hero mech (more money then with founders mechs) of your liking and a premium account (exactly the same what founders got).

Founders isn't available anymore and there is no plan to re-open it according to the developer. On the other hand, as mentioned, hero mechs + premium time more than match the in-game benefits of Founders (Founder mechs only make a 25% cbill bonus while the hero mechs are +30%). The only details missing are that Legendary Founders will get their name/call-sign/some sort of acknowledgement in the game credits ... and if you are a mech collector, the only way to be able to get the Founders versions of the Jenner, Hunchback, Catapult and Atlas was through the Founders programs. These are functionally identical to their regular counterparts but have a different paint scheme and in some cases a somewhat different geometry (nose on the Catapult is different for example).
