Ahhhh... I don't think this thread got the appreciation it should.. ^_^ I really miss those MPBT: Solaris days. It really did have that "homey" feel. I've never quite felt that again in any other game I've played. It's a shame I haven't seen more familar faces showing up yet, or more activity on these Marik forums.

I remember being in the 8th Rasalhague Regulars and raiding the Stieners as the Crazy 8s. Good times. Thanks for reminding me of my high school man. Psychin'!

I played many games on MPBT Solaris before it went premium. Rose from a recruit in Damage Inc to being the leader and organizer. Also spent a lot of time trying to find out if there was a downloadable version of the game that may have gone rogue by a dissallusioned employee after the shutdown. Never got to play 3025, but heard about the ambitious plans while Solaris was still up.

Dont have many memories of Solaris like the rest other than Jada Vic Demise and Hanzo schooling me in the art of getting my backside blown out by a Jenner (fast little jaspers hard to draw a bead with an Anni or a Madii on em) .
Still a few names missing,

I tried to get ahold of the ones I still have on Yahoo, AIM and my other lists. Hey Nehrul if ya still got the old rosters from Moshiro Id like to see if I can get ahold of anyone.

Welcome to The Bubbling Kettel,
and My Personal Collection of MPBT: Solaris Screen Captures

During the final days of MPBT: Solaris, I decided to take a comprehensive series of screen-shots detailing our old home before it's shutdown. Bittersweet as it was, I am grateful for having done the work. Many a pilot has taken and posted pics, and even video captures, of the in-game action. Yet, what about the place we called home for several years between multiple hosts? From the introduction rooms of the Starport, to the funny listings found with some of bars on the map, pics were taken.

Unless indicated, every area within a sector has at least ONE bar.

Ah memory lane, had so much fun in that game.

I was:
Mike <WOLVERINE> then later Mike <DRAAGUN> changed that to Cool Cat <DRAAGUN> and finally Cool Cat <CHs>
was <-.-> <Faces of Death> when no one would drop against us :)
Faces could always get drops.

Howdy,

If memory serves me GEnie Mechwarrior EGA closed down early 1997, but we began operations in AOL in mid-late 1996 and Gamestorm around the same time.

The exact dates I can't give you.
