I bet almost all players have been desensitized to the various pop-up windows in MWO, it seems there is one every time you change screens. These pop-ups are not very different from the ones where the game is confirming your use of MC for expensive stuff (mechs mainly) so I bet the game masters are receiving a number of complaints or refund requests related to the mech bay.
Instead of changing pop-up colors or any sort of funny business, here are two easy, possible solutions:
1) Require the user enter their password for any transaction over X (250? 500? 1000?) MC.
OR
2) Require the user retype the amount of MC to be spent in a pop-up. (ie: "This transaction will cost 5,250 MC, type '5250' in the box below to continue: _____")
Making the user respond to the pop-up beyond simply clicking on "accept" would ensure the user truely intends to use MC in that transaction.

I think this is a good idea, Ive never accidentally purchased anything in MWO but I almost did a few times when I was playing later at night.

Also, I'd like to see a mech return policy. Refund 90% of a 'mech's price for 24 hours after purchase in case you really hated it. Yes, this could be abused but better to abuse the system than to abuse the player base with crappy 'mechs they spent real money on.
