Already happens. Not only that but it takes the % that your component is submerged into account. So if your leg is 50% submerged in water you will get a 50% boost to your heatsinks that are on your leg.
Thanks so much for responding to that Thomas. I know lots of players would like to see it implemented. I would happily give up 25% of my heavy 'Mech's top speed, just to see a light 'Mech that is fully submerged slowed down. Obviously the more submerged the more drag on the 'Mech the more of a speed decrease. I don't know if that level of coding is possible, but it makes more sense.
