Well, if you want a chassis that has a lot of variety and requires more skill to use then most, go with the Cicada. The 2A and 2B have 6 and 5 energy points, respectively (not hard to play, btw). BUT, the 3C has 1 Energy and 4 Ballistic and the 3M has 1 Ballistic and 4 Energy w/ ECM capabilities. You're not considered a douche for driving one, unlike the 3L, and to adequately use the Ballistic hard points, you've got to be especially good with your aim cause going 130-150 and popping off an Autocannon at another target going the same speed ain't easy. Plus, there are a lot of fun things that you can do with the Cicada like:

- Dual AC/20s or Gauss Rifles (no armor)
- Quad AC/2s
- 6 Lrg Lasers
- 4 PPCs

Joking aside, you can go with:
- LB 10-X + 4 Md Lasers, DHSs, and ECM
- PPC + 4 or 5 Md Lasers

There is no, "Other mech" there is only Atlas. You must play Atlas, you must load it with a 150 engine and the biggest guns possible. You must then murder everything in your path, ECM jamming annoying little sh.itstain lights and hit them with big guns that bring hurt. There is no other path. There is only Atlas.

I really love the Centurion. It's about my favourite mech type.

The reason I voted against it is that it is extremely similar to the Dragon, but in the medium class.

For a second mech, you should be looking for a bit of variety, different focuses.

I tried both Centurion and Dragon, they feel like opposites. Dragon works best with a giant XL engine, Centurion zombies 24/7 with it's stick CT.

I like how medium mechs don't carry as much responsibility as other types, they don't do much other than help teammates kill.
