This was something i mentioned back in the closed beta, and i still think it would be a big help. I love to tinker with loadouts all the time, but gotta admit after a few times of doing this i tend to forget what it originally had when i first bought it. Would be nice to be able to reset the default loadout on a mech to maybe run that build at times, or when you go to sell it. It would be cool to have a one click button to reset the original config.

This presents the same problems as saving profiles; what if you do not have the necessary equipment, weapons, ammo, or armor in your inventory? Or you have made upgrades/downgrades to the mech?
I suppose it could just figure out what you're missing and what upgrades/downgrades you need then prompt you with c-bill cost to revert...dumping all excess ordnance into your inventory. But still, that seems like a lot of programming work for something that's not all that useful.
I think a strip mech feature would be better.

Well, personally i dont really sell equipment that much. Let's face it, resell value on item's blows. So being able to reset a mechs loadout shouldn't be that hard if you have the parts. Just make the reset button visible if you have the parts. Be a heck of alot easier than stripping a mech bare and having to start all over again.

I just google searched "reset my mechs to default loadout" thinking to myself, "surely this is a feature, just a question of finding it". Extremely disappointed to find that it is not! Please implement soon!

Again, what if the mech has upgrades/downgrades applied to it?
What if the default loadout requires equipment, armor, ammo and/or weapons that are not currently in the player's inventory?
Modules?
Skins?
Etc...

Then the button would be greyed out and not available, unless you want to buy back the missing parts. If you do have the stock loadout available then it would be highlighted and you could reset it. I think it would be a nice feature to have especially for new players.

You are so right. Really guys this is no matter of solution. It is worthless to ask 'what to do with this issue or the other one'. Just do the work! It is really a necessary feature and should have be done yesterday already.

+1 for an option to reset to factory default.

+1 from me as well.. Just googled it also..
Create stock parts. Parts that cannot be sold, but remains in your inventory or on your profile. Just a thought. Or release a default settings page that we can use to strip and reassemble our mechs. Great game by the way.
