So on this wonderful double xp weekend, has any solo quener out there not run into a premade yet? 9 games in a row now for me. Out of 9.

Most people assume a group of founders on the other team is a pre-made.

Tis a common misconception.

Its actually two premades.

If you lose when you're pugging, then it must have been premades and the idiots on your own team not following your chat instructions. If they lost, then you were a premade however, even if you weren't. It's this way in order to be fair.

When your pugging, and your entire team puts out less then a combined 150 damage before its over in under 2 minutes with the ECM atlas's being first to drop, I'm willing to bank on its a premade your fighting.

well, since all my buddies are in their premades I went pugging for a few matches.

Match 1: I was able to kill 1-2 mechs before dying. We lost 4-8
Match 2: I was able to kill 3 mechs before dying. We lost 3-8
Match 3: got creamed
Match 4: got creamed
Match 5: got creamed

stopped playing.

yeah.... for Pugs, Double XP is ABSOLUTELY USELESS.

That's more the pugs fault than the super-uber premade.

It not too hard to tell. There is a certain level of coordination and team work that you can see when fighting that isn't common with with pugs. For instance, if I'm heavily damage, I duck away long enough that they will lose lock and focus their attention elsewhere. I then pop up over the hill and engage one to see three or more others (who had their backs to me) drop the focus (all three are fighting one target) and turn to me. The kind of behavior that would only come from a group being on comms together.

And yes, there has been a fair number tonight. I'd imagine the clan/game groups have more players on than usual with the dbl xp.

You do what you can. I've found that most people need someone to follow. If your pugging it like i do just try and lead by example.
To your original statement no haven't noticed anything as far as pre-mades

I've noticed many premades tonight. As someone else explained, you can tell when a cluster of 3-4 players is shooting in one direction. You fire on one in the back and then all 3-4 of them turn around and core you.

Norris, why do you hide your founder tag in-game?
