This is the place where we show our under-expressed gratitude for everything that the tireless MWO team is doing for us. Show your thanks and appreciation here! Anytime and for anything in the game! These guys need to SEE that we are grateful for their time and work! ;)

+50. I agree there is too much bitching on these forums and not enough of these types of posts! Without the devs, we would not even have MWO. It's a fantastic game and I look forward to a bright future.

When I first started two months ago, I posted an OMGSQUEE post raving about the game.

PGI, I love you guys. I'm a huge Mechwarrior fan, and have played the ("official") video games since BT:The Crescent Hawk's Inception. It's been a long, long time since I had a good Mechwarrior game to play (MW:3), so when I found MWO had gone open beta, I was excited but concerned. I gave it a try, and was instantly hooked.

MW:O is the game my friends and I fantasized about back when we were hooked on Mechwarrior 1. The very best part is how it absolutely *feels* Mechwarrior.

So, now, two months later? I'm still hooked.

Yes, there are balance issues. In a PvP game, there are *always* balance issues unless the game is very simple - and Mechwarrior with a Mech Lab is *NOT* a simple game. But really, they're not bad at all, and as everything is available to everyone, there's no risk of joining the wrong server/faction/race/whatever and being perpetually on the losing side of things.

So, dear PGI devs: Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I look forward to each new patch like Christmas morning, looking for how the game will be even more awesome.

Thanks for fixing the bug that causes screen to stay yellow if someone hits you while overheated. Thanks for fixing the bug that causes blurring sometimes when going to spectator mode after dying.

There certainly have been some positive changes recently with a bit more dev posts showing up in discussions as well as the most recent ask the devs: http://mwomercs.com/...evs-30-answers/. If PGI can continue being more open with players about the game they will start to see more game balance feedback without all the hostility in posts.

The team at Hell's Ponies Merc Corp is still having lots of fun with the game in it's current state. It's clear lots of work still needs to be done on MWO but overall we are enjoying the game.

I do think a higher priority should be placed on returning collision knockdowns to the game for balance reasons but I'm not going to write a hostile post about it.

The direction PGI seems to be taking now seems different than a few months ago. I hope the more open communication from PGI will continue as it shows us as players that PGI is willing to discuss game balance issues rather than pretending problems don't exist by remaining silent.

MWO still needs lots of work but looking at what the game is currently - it is still fun. Thanks PGI, from Hell's Ponies Merc Corp.

S!

I would also extend gratitude to the GM's dealing with the bug and other reports we keep sending. I've got nice response from there and hoping to do my part in testing, maybe not a pro but doing my best :D Meanwhile back to the slug fest :)

The game is beautiful, fun and it has legs. The combat is a very smart balance of elements. I am very impressed with the work I have seen and I can't wait to see more.

Just remember, for every person hanging out in the forums, there are a ton of players who are too busy playing. I actually prefer r/mwo to the general discussion anyways.

I have tons of games, but the game I choose to play each day is MWO. Not Dayz or Skyrim or Planetside (barf) or anything else. Just me and my Dragon.

I'm still supporting this game like I did the day I put $120 on it. It has potential to be great. The devs and Community teams sometimes only get to hear about the bad things, because those are the most vocal.

For every bad aspect of the game I think we each could point out something good. The upward trend of more info and dev discussion is awesome. Even if it is a something as simple as yes we know said issue is wonky, we are looking at it and acknowledge that something should be done. Silence is what breeds all the QQ and conspiracy theories.

If devs and Community managers didn't have to wade through so much forum troll and bs maybe they would have more time for better responses and info.

For me it's just a patience game, I feel like the devs know there are issues, I feel like they are working to address those issues... things happen slowly. I appreciate all the work they have done, if it wasn't for MWO a lot of us wouldn't be back in a mech after so many years away. I'm in this the for the long haul, greatness doesn't happen overnight.

The best way to say thanks is buy some MC :D

I think we all love this game so much we get frustrated when we see it going in a direction that we hate, some of the posts are just plain rude though.

Anyway staying on topic, keep up the good work, keep communicating with us and despite the abuse I think most of us really appreciate what you are doing with this game.

This game is easily the most fun I've played in years. I enjoy the current game immensely and really look foward to the new stuff coming down the pipe. Keep up the excellent work guys and gals.

P.S. I only regret not finding MWO in time to be a founder.
