The game without collisions is not balanced. Netcode and by extension collisions should be top priority.

I don't think I have a lot to explain here, apart from the obvious. One of the most active defenses against enemy mechs is to knock them down. Without collisions lighter mechs have a unique advantage against the heavier mechs.

Community Warfare is indeed a nice feature to have but if your core game (the actual matches) is not balanced then it will be also broken.

In the end it is a matter of choice from PGI and IGP. Do you want to give us a good game? Or do you want to rush through content that will be problematic, broken and that will result in something that might not be so attractive?

I would like to think that you will listen to your player base and push for a more stable core system even if it means delaying some features. Fix the netcode, fix the collisions, balance the weapons (heat, damage and all these things you want to fine tune) and then expand the game. This will earn you dedicated players that will support you for a very long time.

This thread comes as a comment on the Ask the Devs 30 and in particular the following answer:
Q: Collisions
A: They will return later in the year (no definitive date). We have higher priority tasks (CW).
