I've been a fan of the Warhammer since I saw the original box art for Battletech back in the 80's. I just loved the original designs of all the "Unseen" mechs - little did I know back then that they had been "borrowed" from various anime series and soon would be lost forever from the official Battletech canon.

But the Warhammer in particular I was most fond of. It was the way it just oozed attitude! That intimidating stance, legs apart, arms back and ready to pounce. The illustration of course was copied directly from the Macross Tomohawk on which the Warhammer was based.

My concept for a MWO Warhammer is based heavily on the original Tomohawk design from Macross, maybe a little too close. I've tried to incorporate the angular, chunky panel like construction that we see in the MWO mechs but retain as much of the style of the Warhammer as possible.

It's rather awesome.

But, indeed, too close to the Tomahawk. Makes me nostalgic for my Warhammer tho!

Indeed, very cool. Only thing I don't dig is the 2-toe'd feet.

Overall I like it but what stands out for me is:

Wish the guns were bigger (cylindrical model was fine in my opinion).

The two "toes" could be bigger and not look so spread apart like a bird's.

Maybe a slightly bigger torso.

Other than that I love it great job!

Great initial design, though I do agree with the previous comments about the feet and torso. Spiffing, I look forward to see where this goes :D

Thanks Guys. I'm working on changing up the side torsos a bit.
I'm going to stick with the two toes as the original Warhammer had two toes.

Another take on this idea. Redesigned the side torsos, toes, PPCs and SRM launcher. Not sure about the angled SRMs but it makes it look a bit different than the Tomahawk.

I also gave it MLs and SLs that are more like the MWO weapons.

Great skills, but I must admit that I'm less of a fan of this version overall. The waist is still a problem, for me, not enough room for the fusion reactor to sit. But that's just a personal thing, keep up the good work!
