Hello Mechwarriors,
i wanted to bring this to attention way before the game of our dreams comes true: The Fontsize

I have played a few times a few months in EVE Online and myself and even more my old Dad had big problems with the fonts used there, hardly able to read them in time or at all.
Now that EVE seems to be in some trouble they finally try to have their fonts fixed and run into big trouble changing the old parts of their software.

My families computers all have screens with a 1920x1200 resolution and i dont want to run a game in a non native resolution to get bigger fonts.
So i want to ask, suggest that MWO offers the option for big fonts, making the UI, the Intruments easy readable!

To me a font size like the letter in the profile/logout button or like in "Skyrim" would be nice, at best scaleable to the players needs.

This is a point where realism has to step back behind playability imho!

Thank You

As much control over the UI as is practical, please! Fonts included.

Hold control + move scroll wheel on mouse.

EDIT: Skimming ftl, you guys are talking about in-game UI? Heh, oops.

I want big fonts, not because I have bad eyesight (I have 20/15, come at me bro), but because it simply looks cleaner. I like "clean". Compare Skyrim to the Oblivion interface and you'll see what I mean.

I fully agree with the thread starter. I am having trouble trying to read the written instructions / communication in team chat.
An option to change the font size / UI size will be great.

This reply that I'm making right here... 13th reply to a thread... started on December 8th, 2011. What is it about this thread that makes it the target of epic unintentional necro?

Probably the Forum is hard to read and the teamchat ingame is hard to read also which is a problem of the used font (Forum), the used colour and the display time and combat stress (ingame).

Did i tell already that i played a Necro in AoC?
So anyone feel free to practice their Necro talents on this thread...

:D

While I agree that the PGI design team needs to make sure everything is visible and easy to read, and that large crisp font help a lot here (hell MSFT just redesigned their entire OS around a new font) it's pretty unfair to claim that "that EVE seems to be in some trouble" as CCP's EVE Online is only growing P2P MMO in the world.

The thread origins in 2011 and CCP has a major pain with their UI that is not easy to improve - at least they told so.
