ahm i don´t wanna start a riot here but: as far as i know, the rights for a BT Movie have been bought by someone 2 or 3 years ago, around the time when MW(5) had been announced...chances are not TOO bad, that there will be a movie if MW gets a good push this year...

i am praying for it. when i watched Transformers the first time, the scene on the military airport at the beginning....i thought "they GOTTA make a MW Movie"...

Dont get us wrong. I think everyone here would like to see a good Mechwarrior/Battletehc movie but the chances are against us and noone wants a terrible movie about our favorite hobby.

lol...well i just wanted to share the info with you, that an upcoming MWmovie is possible... i agree that chances are even good that it will be on a quality level like WingCommander back in the days... but hope dies last...slowly...painful^^

Bay has been after the MW movie for a while, I think they even had something on IGN about it a few years back but he didin't get anyone to back him so he went after the transformers instead.

I think it coulld be done, and could even end up being good, so long as no and I mean no Shia LeBouf type acter is put into it.

That would make me puke a little and want to kill someone. Comedic relief of that nature should be shot and left behind the shed.

The community has been begging, pleading, wishing, hoping, dreaming, groveling, demanding, screaming, etc etc etc for a movie for a long time.

If they can give us transformers....(way over detailed imo) then they sure as hell give us Mechs and Mechwarrior/Battletech live action movie.

I just saw Battleship lastnight...
The graphic and movie technology is there...
