I already have an Urbie bobblehead....so the Deaths Knell is more attractive. I think having two Urbie bobbleheads is actually an exploit, nobody should be allowed that much Sir.

No drop ships. No tonnage limit. I know that it has its advantages in TT but in this game? An ac/40 cat will eat 8 of those for breakfast.

Command Chair says dropship mode is coming.

Imagine:
Map: River City (night, because no one likes it)
Ton limit? 400 ton bid.

120 tons = loading 4 dudes into Urbies to sit on your cap / nearby and gangmurder whomever comes up front.
280 tons = 4 dudes in cataphracts.

Bam, 4 heavies and 4 lights; decent base defense coupled with a nasty offensive punch. The likelihood the other team doesn't just bring 8 hunches isn't huge, but it allows for greater tactical flexibility.

Edit: maths, lol.

Done it with a RVN-4X, isn't the same delicious trashcan flavor.

Also - I can't paint it blue and white and make R2D2 noises all game in public chat/coms.

Why in the hell would you want an urban mech?

http://www.sarna.net/wiki/UrbanMech

Do you know what ac/20's would do to that?

Yes, it would bounce off his impenetrable armor of awesomeness.

I already have the Urbie bobble-head, so I'm going to have to go with the Death's Knell. It'll be a blast to pilot it with my Urbie on the dash.

What about having two Sirbenmech bobbleheads in a Death's Knell?

UM-R80 with its BAP, ECM and Snub Nose PPC would be OP on a couple of these maps.

I would like to see all capture points guarded by an AI Urbie circling the area. Give light mechs trying to ninja cap something to worry about.

No AI, but I can see a snub nose Urbie or a variant with Gauss/AC/20 being an awesome sniper. Maybe a variant for each weapon type: Ballistic/Energy/Missile. I could see an Urbie with SSRM2 and TAG.....

i refuse to buy any more MC until pgi addresses and fixes basic game play functions. netcode is only a SMALL part of the problem and i will give some leeway there as it is a difficult one and IS being addressed, but as far as anything else...........

Refusing to pay someone for work they haven't completed isn't much incentive. You didn't BUY anything when you spent money. You're FUNDING something. You're investing in the game in the hopes that the payoff will be a better game than what it is now. If you can't understand that, that's your own stupidity. But, yeah, stop your crying. We don't give a ****.
