I have played about 5 matches since patch and I have been unable to chat in 3 of them once I am dead. I am fairly certain that I did not have a chat window open at the time of death but I will keep an eye out for it. Has anyone else been experiencing this?

Edit: I'm definitely experiencing this, and without having chat open when I die.

On a related note, I just had all chat history wiped when I died so I could no longer see what was said before my death.

I've seen a return of this bug too. It's not common, but every few match (About 1/6th of the times i die) I go to type to see no history, switch spectator mode view and it wipes again. It's somehow back in the coding. But only upon death it seems.

yeah, same here, played a few maches, i none were i able to spit my rage on my own team

seems to happen more frequently when your typing before you switch to spectator (or new spectator), but I've had a few cases of it happening regardless.

oddly I'm not really bothered much by this other than I don't have a mic to communicate with my team so it does hinder me a bit in that regard.

Yes, it has become worse. How things work or not work after you have died seems to be totally random. Sometimes I can't see the team stats screen (TAB), sometimes I can't call up the maximized grid... There are a few bugs in the ghost mode still.

I've found this to be true if you have a key pressed at the moment you die.

yes, I think these things occur together. If I can't chat after dying, I can also not open the team stats or the battlegrid, not sure if it is really always like that. also, sometimes it takes a few moments and I am able to use chat and grid again after dying, but not always.

I would say, chat and maybe the other tools should not be available after dying at all. But then, Teamspeak premade team players who have died will give some information to their teammates from ghost view, too.

No, but the "no chat while still alive" bug is still around

If you hit escape twice it should clear up the issue. Temporary workaround.

Every time I die and when someone I'm spectating dies, chat history gets wiped and I can no longer chat.
