I thought it was just me or just large lasers.
Yes, I am definitely running hotter. I rarely shutdown by accident in my founders (3LL, 2 SRM6) Cat but it happened to me several times in my most recent matches. They've adjusted something - whether it's the heat generated by weapons fire or how fast heat dissipates or a lower threshold for shutdown - something's changed.

I definitely fell hotter in my SP, my 5M and my A1.
Would love to know what they changed.
Communication is a good thing Devs.
Stealth changes in BETA are bad. You want information? Give up some information.

I seem to be retaining heat longer than I did previously. I had a 'phract 1X with 4xML, 1xLL, and AC 20. Ran hot but I had the timing down pretty well that once I got the alert I'd slow down on the trigger a bit and get back in to safe ranges then amp it up until I got the alert...my rhythm was all jacked up after the patch. I then decided to drop the LL and go for another medium and a bigger engine, but I still seemed to be keeping heat around longer.
I'm using DHS on this particular build.

I haven't noticed it running hotter but shutting down due to heat, gliding 50 meters across the map and then sitting there for an additional ten seconds or so before the start-up sequence begins is a new feature.

I definitely notice it in my AC20 K2. I used to never ever ever overheat and then like magic, two or three patches ago (I lost track) I started having heat problems.

I'm fairly certain something was done with heat that is leading to higher heat. It isn't a lot, but it certainly has an impact.
