Does anyone think it will have a chance of making it into the game?

Personally I can't think of anything better than strolling around with a single railgun just pegging things. Or do you think they will keep them out as a balancing issue? None of the mechs so far really seem as if they could hold one anyway with the slots available.

Dude lostech is equal to Star League. But with some tech crazier than others like LAMS, Chameleon Light Polarization and Null Signature Systems. The Snub nose PPC was also invented by the Star League, but not recovered as normal tech until the end of 3067.

Otherwise weapons like ERPPCs and ER Large lasers were considered lostech. But they were no longer considered lostech when they were massed produced again in the 3050s..

The LBX-AC10 is considered lostech and so is the ERLL and ERPPC (not Clan versions mind you, the DC ones) and they are all confirmed to be in the game. lemme try to find the link to the thread that this was confirmed...

LBX AC/10 was re-discovered in 3035 By the Davions. ERPPC by the Combine in 3037, ER Large Laser also 3037 (If you swear by Sarna)

I really don't see LAMs making it into game. It would bring out the 'That's Robotech!' foul criers, and with good reason. Really the only reason they were in game to begin with was available art, not due to original concept or even practicality (even though I used the HELL out of them playing old school tabletop BT. Killer surprise factor).

It's possible, some lostech might be able to be salvaged from certain mission objectives. (assuming MWO has anything like quests) However, you can bet if they do, things like null-sig will be obscenely rare, and not likely to be repaired easily or cheaply, limiting thier actual use.

Mind you re-discovered does not mean it would be ready off the bat. It is like the Air Force has the F-35s already but they are not gonna start mass producing it till years later.
