I was thinking of a map that you would be 1 vs each other battle to the death and to make sure no one person hid during the battle have random point on the map you have to cross in order to stay alive or you mech blows up while you fight others to the death.

worst... idea... ever
they are looking at adding Solaris type game modes (1v1, 2v2 etc.) and they would be in small arena type maps where you can't really hide for very long, thus removing the need for your explody mech zone idea
however - this is probably at least a year away from being added due to the amount of other content they already have planned
