Next people will want everyone to play on 800x600 resolution because they feel a 21"+ monitor is an advantage. What ever happened to adapting in this generation? Of course my generation invented the restrictor plate on nascars.

Wrong comparison.

Imagine you had a 2 x 1920x1050 22" monitor setup. You know you can use it. But if you'd use 800x600 14" monitor, you would have combat advantages.

IMO when using thermal, you should lose some depth perception. Also terrains and buildings that are not heat source should be further blurred out.

look at some real FLIR images, please.

This poll me give you a hint what the actual problem is:
http://mwomercs.com/...er/page__st__20

1) Low-Light Vision is useless
2) People prefer to use Normal Vision, but they know Thermal Vision gives distinct advantages.

People would prefer to use normal vision, but fear that other people using thermal vision have an advantage over them. But they didn't spend all that money on an expensive graphics card to see only tones of blue and red.

thank you mustrumridcully for that link, seems like your the only who got what i was saying maybe i was too drunk =D

1. Every mech has thermal, there is no possible cheat, if you don't use your tools to your advantage, it's your fault.
2. Sitting in spawn spamming PPCs that are out of range to the other spawn helps nobody, get with the group and go do some damage.
