I may just be a leadfoot but I find I find that a good chunk of the time I want max throttle (forward and reverse); I think a keybinding for 'max forward' and 'max reverse' would make the controls feel more responsive.

Actually, I'd love to be able to bind throttle speeds to the 1-0 keys, like previous versions of Mechwarrior.
I mean, who uses the keyboard to fire off weapon groups? That's what a multibuttoned mouse is for.

As a light mech driver, responsiveness is of paramount importance, so it would be nice to be able to adjust my throttle more quickly. My personal preference, though, would be to have the throttle like STO's: throttle up key increases throttle by 25% the down key decreases it by 25% and another key toggles between full and no throttle.

Use the "F5- F8" keys. "F5" - Full reverse, "F6" - 35% forward, "F7" - 70% forward, "F8" - 100% Forward.
"W", "S" and "X" remain the same as is.
