I get the occasional great matches, and the occassional steam rolls. I'm not going to cry about premades vs pugs here, there are plenty of those.

Rather, what I wanted to post were some memories of websites that were used in past MW clan games, that I think MWO should implement for community warfare. Now, I apologize, the vision i have in my head is somewhat easy, yet complex, so explaining it may be confusing or erratic, but those with past MW clan match experience may know what I'm thinking and may help explain if they're on board with the suggestion

- I think the game should have an "in house" clan / merc corps creator. The "leader" of said group logs into the MWO site and goes to a section that allows him to create the group, choose his faction, logo, and input the names of the members of the group, as well as ranks. The ranks indicate the max tonnage the warrior can bring into battle...for example a liuetenant could only bring mechs up to 55 tons to battle. (these restrictions only apply to league matches, and do not count for pugging)

-"Direct Match" & League system for clans wanting to war with each other. Basically, the players in the clan group up, then can either input the clan they want to fight, bringing all members to a lobby allowing them to start a game between each other. This lobby would have game options...map, mode, # of players, etc. Leagues could be set to run for certain periods, with IGP / PGI maybe giving some prizes, tshirts, figures, dog tags, hats, etc...similar to the WOW seasons.

-"allow freebirth(bondsmen / allow merc" option. If for some reason, a lance is not full prior to a drop, the leader of the short group could be allowed to just bring someone in to fill the game.

There could be a lot of potential in a system like this. For example a Clan going against an IS faction would be limited by actual lore...lance sizes specifically.

These suggestions would be in addition to the normal changes they have planned regarding premades vs pugs.

Years ago during my MW3 2 or 4 days (don't recall) there was a site that was used, where all people would register a clan, and setup matches, and get points at the end of every match. After the match, the winning team would go to the site, input the data, the losing team would confirm it, and then the clan / corps would get ranked, and people would rank up, allowing them to take bigger mechs into battle. It was a really really fun interesting system, and I think PGI would do really really well to have something like this in house.
