Hello,
I've installed the MWO version of C3, and just tried a couple of matches.
I want to use a PTT key, but it doesn't work when my kb is focused on the game.
C3 doesn't start a channel for the active game. TBH, I don't know what it's supposed to do.
I have the C3 checkbox checked.
What happens when it works successfully?
TIA

Currently, C3 only works if you're in a premade group D:
Eventually, it is supposed to work with random droppers, but that's far enough away that it isn't on the roadmap yet.

This info actually saves me some frustration. In this case, I'll go get dinner!

Get on the NA Comstar TS3 server and group up with some random people. You'll have a lot more fun.

It's been awhile since I have tested it, so if someone has done more recent testing please correct me if I am wrong.
The C3 client ... if you have it installed and enabled in MWO as a lone wolf it doesn't do anything. However if you form a group and someone else joining the group has it installed and enabled, then it will fire up both your clients create a room and drop both of you (or how many ever there are with it installed and enabled) in it. Or if you are joining a group under the same conditions the same thing will happen.
All in all it works ok... however in order to truly use it you have to go find a group and get it all set up before hand which is very difficult to do without any for of lobby or in game social aspect. At which time it is easier to use the TS servers as mentioned above, being they are already set up organized and are well known.

You also may need to run your voice protocol program As Administrator (whether you use C3 or TS3 or whatever) if you're not able to use PTT while MWO is open.

Yeah if the problem is actually with the PTT button itself, I know with TS3 you have to run it as Administrator in Windows 7. May very well be the same for C3.

This is the case for my Ventrillo, but not my Teamspeak. Not sure why.

I have this problem with Vent, but TS3 doesn't seem to care.
So C3 is up and running to an extent? I installed it after the initial announcement, but found it to be a ghost town and gave up.

It has the same function as TS3 at this point. You make a group, and everyone has to join the same channel. It's still pretty empty since everyone has gotten used to TS3 servers.
