So over the last couple days I've noticed a "glitch" or "bug" involving overriding the shutdown associated with overheating. Every once and a while, once I hit the override, after it brings my 'mech back online, the HUD is still stuck in "emergency shutdown". No real HUD to speak of, still says "emergency shutdown" or whatever in red at the top, and unable to fire any weapons. The only fix for this that I have found is to shut down and start up the 'mech again with "p".
Is this supposed to be normal? Or what's the deal here? Unsure if this is the right spot to post this, or if there is an actual forum thread area to post bugs and glitches as this is still a Beta testing phase.

Known bug that was supposed to be squashed already. Put in a ticket and let them know it's going on still. And your fix is the only one that I know of... been around for awhile now.

Yep, it's a known bug... and they know it's still going on. From the comments, it seems to happen more often too.

I only played 1 match tonight, and it happened to me on it. Although I could fire weapons groups with the number keys, just no hud or ability to tell which mechs were ours or the enemy's in the melee since there was no target lock or other indicators.

hit power down and power up as a work around. At least that worked for me when i got the bug. power up/down is the 'p' key by default.

Still happening, felt quite realistic when it happened first time "damn - too much heat for the board computer, I have to reboot my mech *smash cockpit buttons*".

Yup happened to me yesterday.
Though in the heat of battle it really sucks because just coming off an overheat shutdown means you are normally in a pitched battle. Normally take a few hits while shutdown like that. Coming back up and having to power down again is suicide.
Last time had to attempt to run away to find a place to hide. Died.
