Such a rough week! Screwed up up flight stage check with my flight school (not my checkride thankfully), and now I figure out I forgot to fill out a number of things for my Beta Profile!!!!! ARGH!!!!!!! SOOOOOOOO MAD!!!!!!!!!! I put in all my computer specs, but didn't realize there was a ton of additional info they wanted!

*bangs head into wall*

Even more infuriating? 3 of my friends got in! ARGH!!!!

Yes, that is true.
The invites went out just a few hours ago.

Depending on interpretation, Mr Ekman said, "1,000 Players are getting in this week."
Either 1,000 players will be bled in over a few days and multiple invite batches, or all 1,000 in one go.
So. either you still have a miniscule chance to get in, or we're all waiting another week for another round of invites.

and don't sweat the checkride either, it's all small potatoes. I was Airforce and trust me when I say they throw little things at you both in and out of the Aircraft to see how well you handle the stress. Have a beer, relax and enjoy the weekend my friend. If they haven't told you to pack your bags your doing just fine.

I was so pissed that we didn't get an e-mail or something saying "HEY, you might want to complete your beta profile with this nice giant questionnaire!" SOOOOO pissed at myself that I didn't see it. UGH.

And now they can tease you about it for days, maybe weeks! Awesome! Eh but on the bright side you'll get to play it soonish anyway.

I must thank Paul personally for installing that giant yellow PENDING button at the top of the page. It makes me feel secure and sad all at the same time. Also giggling only slightly as it's happy looking if you ignore the word...then sad when you see it again.

was just talking to em on coms and they said they just got the emails. Hard to break the NDA when you are saying you got an email and didn't sign said NDA yet, lol.
