Myself as a pug (always). I haven't seen, witnessed a good premade yet. That is.. >>> Formation fighting, lances split up, postions sittings, anything do to with communication tactics. They can fight one on one, to show who is the best mechwarrior. This is a premade I have seen >>> Countdown ends. they group and walk, around map holding hands...they see the targets, call it..."Alpha, Bravo, Charlie...." Their enemy is down in 4-6 mins and no more/less. They take the fun out of conquest, fighting assualt mode. They do not need to take caps at all. They can take the fun out of Assualt mode as well. But what can you do. This is combat. It is fustrating, and notices premades in a round. I will never be a premade. Only when voice is added in game.

So ... your saying you want premades to be better coordinated with advanced tactics???? really??? because later on your saying how devastating they are with the current "weak" tactics they use on 4 man "blobs"...... the advanced tactics I can think up will leave most pug teams dead 8-0 and they will never even see the enemy force which is no fun at all.

I try to leave the good tactics for the 8 v 8 man drops. Pug matchs are for working on fire coordination, damage spreading and general target practice. Sorry I know that rankles those of you getting stomped on a regular basis but it's at least honest. + you are very welcome to drop in on TS and come join me on "the dark side"

I don't mind losing, I think my stats show that! But when we get rolled in 4-5 one after another I tend to get a little upset. I consider it getting rolled when we lose 7/8-1/0 in under 4 mins.

1)I don't get pug stomped often enough for it to even matter.
2)Why get mad a the guys that do stomp the pug group I am in, they weren't the ones screwing up.

Speaking for myself, when I get angry at the game I am more upset with the game makers not having balanced MM than the other team. Just played 10 games, 3 ended 8-0, 3 ended 8-1, of the remaining 4, 2 were OK/uneventful and 2 were fun. Regardless weather I'm on the losing or winning team, This should not be.

For pugs only. by that I mean if at least 90% of your games are pugs. In other words, its common for you to sit and play5-10+ rounds at a time as a pug. Im doing this poll to get a feel for the pug experience and what it takes for us as pugs to finally loose our cool after being stomped on. For me personally, i just answered 7. Because thats what it took today for me to finally start yelling at the screen :P Ill have to qualify that answer with a little backround.. My threshold would have been lower up until recently, but I had 3 fantastic games earlier in the day, and my performance in game has increased substantially as of late. The first 5 stomps I led in damage, the last two, i was not feeling it and died about halfway each time. After the last one.. i rage quit. Now i know phase three is coming and all, but I want to see if we can quantify just how frustrating it can be getting steamrolled over and over whether thats just bad luck, stat voodoo or whatnot. I can say with a fair amount of certainty that 3 of em were against premades.. Its generally only premades that march en masse straight to the enemy base and then focus fire with multiple ecm streak tag, missile boats and flat out heavy hitters. If phase three doesnt rectify the problem , just for sanitys sake a pug only pool would certainly help. That, and at least Identifying who is dropping as a group.

Don't be a terrible pug and you won't get stomped so much. It's not rocket science.

So your experience with in game voip is much better in regards to "chatter"? You've experienced less "uncoordinated babbling" on in game comms? I find that hard to believe if true.

I am wondering if that is because no one can hear you talking in the ingame VOIP?

These are the same mouth breathers that keep walking straight into entrenched enemy positions, KNOWING that the enemy is there, and then being surprised that they get instantly cored. They never learn, they never listen, they just blame everyone else and come crying here about OP alpha strike builds and other silly ****.

Honestly it's a miracle they didn't die when they were kids due to eating too much glue.

I lose quite a few games, and maybe some of those games qualify as a "pugstomp", but it's never made me angry. The more times my team crumbles around me is more times I have to deal with overwhelming odds and impossible situations and the better a pilot I become. Besides, I've seen plenty of games pulled out of the ******* by the last man standing (and been the last man standing stealing the cap or eking out the resource victory).

You must embrace the frustration. Frustration is weakness leaving the mouse-hand. Use the frustration, love the frustration, whisper sweet nothings to the frustration in the dark hours of the night. My point is, everybody gets frustrated. It's how you react to said frustration that defines you.

100% PUG (represent!)

I don't really care if I get stomped. It's just a game, I don't play it competitively, and I'm having fun (man I sound like a hippie). But seriously.

Oooh I like you, reminds me of this time where I was in my K2 (PPC fit don't whine) in frozen city and flanked around so as the enemy was making the bend at the dropship I was getting nice shots to their backs. And... my team dies. Me vs 5, in a sniper fit AND I win it for the team at knife fighting range, all while making a dash for our base because it was being capped as well (when it rains it pours). That's the kind of victory where you know it was all you, you earned it.

100% pug, I rarely get 7 stomps in a row, but I tend to stay in the top 4 overall score. Stomps don't bother me one bit. Been in enough pug stomps on both sides that all I look at is my own performance. Win or lose, I still have fun. I only yell at myself when I do some stupid crap.
