however i answered 3 because when my team mates fail to do anything intelligent 3 times in a row my faith in humanity starts fading a little bit...
stomping is not about ecm, or lrm... it's about noobs on your team, or just plain bad players.
otherwise it would be a normal loss, not a stomp

If you think I'm being harsh, too bad. I can forgive dumb rookie mistakes, but I have zero tolerance for people who refuse to even make an effort.

For some reason out of 20 games I played on a new free test account with some random dude in a group of 2, only 1-2 were against good 4 men on an enemy team.
Why your r3tardness and lack of communication should be a fault of the game?! Get some friends and play with them, it's not that hard, stupid.

OP you would think your poll asked,
"How many Stomps do you give before you get bored and log off"
by the way they seem to feel personally attacked. It is the "premade/pug" civil war hard at work there, i am sure it wasn't personal other than " r3tardness" and "stupid" lol good poll and thank you.
Given orgasmo there is just trying to show the path to victory

I can handle getting stomped, a lot, if I feel it was a fair fight. After all, with premium + hero mech, you can fail your way upwards in the game C-bills wise.
I get fed up very quickly when;
- Our team has disconnects/AFKers and the other does not
- The amount of ECM-equipped mechs on the other team borders on the ridiculous, while we have one or none. (Four to our one? Yea that's cool)
- When a TK'er shows up, on either team
- Someone, on either team drops out due to a bug (black screen, yellow screen, FPS bug, etc)

Sometimes I've gone a full 10 complete wipes in a row before I start ragin if only because the first 10 matches were either close or wipes on the other side. Other times I get horribly disgusted after 3 because they're the first 3 matches I played.
The quickest was twice in a row when every single mech in the first match on the other side was a ECM Raven or DDC Atlas. Literally...every...single...one. Every one on my team was a trial or me in my founder Jenner. The next match we got shoved up against a synced drop group that announced, in chat, that they were a sync dropped group and that we should just roll over and die because it was goin to happen anyway.
Think that one made me quit playin for a week in disgust.
In general though I'd say about 5. Its probably the average.

After 5 drops I was at the point of punching out my keyboard.
The in house Mech setup just plan Sucks. The Mech setup is just bad in my opinion.
Yes I will be sticking with my grinding Account Cimaron because I want to see just how fare I can get in this game with out putting in real cash.

So the team gets rolled. It happens. Deal with it.
As for how many are premades. If a lot of them are premade, then they are not very good at using sophisticated tactics. Most of the tactics my teams have been rolled by were ones that PUGs can do. Example: Say in chat at start of match, "My TAG laser puts a crosshair shape above the target and you can clearly see it. Focus fire on my TAGed target".
Most of the times my team was rolled was just because of focus fire. also,I have seen many times where my team got seperated. That is asking for a loss as well. Especialy, when the enemy team stays together. It's much more of the fault of the team not working together, then the enemy being a premade.

This is true..
I only recently found my mojo in this game, partly because many times being on a pug team means, well some seriously bad
team mates.
Alot of them.. I mean really, can you imagine what it would be like to spectate the bottom 20% of ELO ranking matches?
As a decent player its just frustrating at times..
Conversely, for me, premades were just easy..... easy mode... I was running trials... and never even got the paint scratched..
Also, as someone said.. this isnt about premades stomping... Its just about being on a bad pug team , game after game..
Hell it could have been all pug teams killing us this morning, but I dont think so
So, the poll is to measure the toll this frustration takes..

On the other hand I've also been on the stomping side quite often (I'm pure PuG so must have either been grouped with a premade or got lucky with my fellow PuGgers) and even had quite a few close matches so overall I reckon it balances out.
I started playing at the beginning of open beta, when a typical PuG experience was being pitted against an 8 man team featuring 5 or 6 LRM boats and by the time the 4-man limit was implemented my W/L was something like 20/120. I'm nearing a thousand matches now and the gap is still hovering around the hundred mark.

It's okay. Even if there aren't any premades on the other team, they still only won because they had more ECM/SRMs/LRMs/Lasers/Cannons/Lights/Mediums/Heavies/Assaults/Snipers/Campers/Brawlers/Founders

Agreed. There is no shame in losing if you and your team gave it your all, but it's insulting to carry the load because your so-called "teammates" insist on going solo, or won't assist you when you need help, or just use you as a shield while they **** around.

It's been rough for a long while..probably since the intro of ecm, and it's just getting worse. I get paid tomorrow and was thinking of actually splurging and getting a couple of hero mechs, but after this last run..ugh. Maybe not..
It really is getting tedious facing pretty much the same team makeup and premades a majority of the time.
