If you are getting rolled that much you might want to adjust your playtime if possible. Stay away from primetime US when most of the farmers form up just try to avoid this time. If you are constantly getting rolled in off hours you are either really unlucky or bad. If you can only play in prime hours US might want to join a pre-made or grow a thicker skin because the farmers aren't going to play 8 mans anytime soon.

I can take quite a beating.

Games can hardly enrage me but i might decide to watch a movie instead.

It depends eventually on my state of daughter-induced sleep deprivation and mood overall.

>7 anyway.

Bad, Biased poll. This game is fun, I do not always run with my group, sometimes I drop once in awhile because I have other projects, like housework. I will not hold a group back to drop when I want to, so am I wrong for considering others, or am I wrong for likeing to play with my friends? either way qq polls are not going to change anything.

I rarely get stomped, even when my team does.

I pug the majority of the time, but I rarely play more than 5 matches in one sitting. And when I PUG, I do it selfishly. Unless someone responds to my early queries for coordination, I will just tuck in behind the biggest mech in the biggest blob on the radar, use it as a meat shield, and do my best to rack up damage, assists, and kills, regardless of others on my team.

When I drop in pre-made, however, I will obviously coordinate mech loadout, call out targets, respond to calls for help, etc. I also usually will play for several hours straight when I'm on TS.

Hmmm......I drop with friends and with pugs , on ts and not , enjoy all of them and do my best to support whom ever i drop with.

But it really boils down to a question of mind over matter.

If you don't mind , it don't matter.... :D

Getting that upset over a video game is silly. It is very rare that I get "stomped" that much in a row even PUGging but it does happen. When it does... who cares. It's a game and while I try to do my best there is so much beyond my personal control that I don't take it personally when it all seems to not work.

The only time I do get upset, it is with myself. Usually when I can mumble to myself, "That was stupid Merc... you know better."

People that quit just because they are "sure" their team is going to lose are the worst kind of players.

It depends... it can be just a few sometimes, but I can deal with it longer if I drop as an extra alongside a pre-made here and there.

^this

A couple of weeks ago, I played PUG for a pretty much the whole day on a weekday during a rare day off. Had a great time and a good win/loss ratio. Trying to play EST during primetime can be an utter horror show at times.

If I end up getting rocked, as in 8-0 my entire teams damage didn't equal anywhere close to leaders damage, I hop on TS after punching my cat.

I have too much fun with this game to worry if I win or lose a match (or a 100 matches in a row, if it ever happened) however I am looking forward to matchmaking progress as I have had some great games that came down to two crippled mechs carefully stalking each other or a pair of heavies trying to outcap an armless commando in conquest and the commando won by under 5 pts Hehe, those are fun, but I am just glad to have this game to play.

Or you could always....ya know.....play a team game with a team?

Nice trolling.

I usually can go 5-10 losses in a row before throwing in the towel. Doesn't happen too terribly often. I had several good games the other day and then had one game against a sync-drop that was trolling the pugs from the very start of the match. Had something to do with hello kitty or something, I stopped paying attention and just logged out from the game for 15 minutes.

I can manage to drop about the same amount of damage per match in any setting. K/D and W/L ratios aren't important, gaining experience piloting for consistent performance is.

I would think you should be getting less damage when running in groups. With other skilled pilots on your team you usually have to do less damage yourself to bring mechs down. Just my personal observation.

I only quit when I can't get a decent fight. If my team manages to stall the enemy long enough for me to pick a fight with something my size or larger I'm quite satisfied even if they get wiped out. As long as I take on and preferably take out my own weight or higher I've done my job and there's nothing I can do about my team being full of garbage.

It's when I pick a fight in my Hunchie with a Cataphract or something, start totally ripping him apart, and some SSRM abusing light comes along and starts cheesing it up that I walk away for a while. Nothing ruins this game like when some punk half your weight jumps in and tosses your decent brawling with his no-skill-no-aim-no-worry tactics.

Oh, I forgot.

It takes 2 games of the scoreboard looking like this before I log for 24+ hours;

Me: 300-400 damage
Next: 200 damage
Everyone else: Double digits or 0 damage

I'm not great by any stretch of the imagination, but I rarely fail to deal a fair amount of damage considering we got rolled hard.

The worst part is I see the team out there, running around and fighting. Then the scoreboard pops up, I see more than half the team in the 50 damage region, and I lose a little faith in humanity.

I only play for an hour or so at a time, so however many happen, it is either that, spend time trying to get a drop, which is the difference between playing 3 matches instead 6, or walk away.

I am rarely able to tell the difference anymore between getting rolled by a pre-made and or due to the god awful game balance.

This game is seriously out of balance. I can't imagine what type of games the devs play with each other to think things are ok.

I have tested and played hundreds of games and this one is one of the worst balance wise.
