Greetings MechWarriors!

As I have said many times, I am open to one and all PMing me with questions, comments, and so on. I try to get to all of you.

That said...

I cannot keep up with the current amount. I'm backlogged weeks at this point. To give an example of why, here was a typical work morning:

8:15am, sit at desk, open PM's. Total new PM's: 60. So I start answering. I answer 17 by 9:00am (some are long answers, some short. New total: 59. I get them so frequently I cannot keep up. So, this message is for three reasons:

1) Please don't PM me with 'check out my suggestion thread.' Either myself, a Community Mod, or an IGP mod will see it, and forward it. I can't reply to them all (neither can they) simply due to the massive number. That said, they still get seen.

2) I get you don't like (ECM/DHS/Ballistics/LRMs/SSRMs/Assaults/Lights/Heavys/Paul/Comstar/Clans/etc) and that's cool - but I really don't have the time for a back and forth PM debate. I wish I did, but sadly, I have messages to deliver, and I can't do that AND type (I walk right off the cliff in Frozen City EVERY time I type and move.)

3) If you can possibly post it on the forums, in any way, please do so. I like the personal interaction, but with the sheer amount of 'hey check my thread plz' messages I go through - about 99% of which I've either already seen, or already responded to - I'm running out of time to reply to real questions, etc.

hehe reads like my normal matches well, at least i get one or 2 kills when i reach 500+ damage...usually..

but 7 assists with 500 damage looks viable

I cannot think of anything less useful than a "hey read my forum post PM". I work in customer service and people constantly email me, then call me about the email I just got and had half written up a response to. Pick a form of communication and use it, preferably the most efficient, forums in this case, and wait for a response. Nothing we post here other than bug reports is urgent and there is already a place for that. The more efficient you communicate, the more able people are to help you.

I know personally I have spent hours on the phone with people who just wanted to go over every little detail but basically needed 30 seconds worth of information to get what they actually wanted.

Garth, you should probably put in a spam filter. That filters out any messages with ECM and random insults in them

Should probably cut down your workload by about 90%
