No you cant, but if you have ecm you can press "J" and you will be able to target them. Visit guids about ecm.

Unless you can counter ECM, you have a small window between 180m - 200m where you can target them and still fire streaks.

Good luck!

Or you can make a counter build and pull out something like LBX10.

The only problem is now you gotta learn to aim.

Which is entirely another problem.

Cute. But yeah, people have been "asking" this to themselves ever since ECM came out.

The truth currently is that ECM can be countered by ECM. Set an ECM in "counter" mode and you can stop the disruption effect of an enemy ECM as long as you aren't outnumbered. Your target is then vulnerable to Streak SRM and LRM fire. But that means you are too.

TAG can also help. If the target can be tagged then you can lock on in the 180-280m range and use streaks then. However this tends to be difficult as the ECM still slows target lock and it's a narrow band to stay in when everyone is moving 150kph.

Unfortunately, that all adds up to the fact Streak missiles are pretty near extinct except on ECM units. Without ECM to counter ECM, it is too much of a gamble.

SSRMs are useless against ECM covered mechs unless you can dependably counter it yourself. That's why we've such a drastic fall off in the once popular StreakCat population.

Thankfully, with the recent netcode improvements you can reliably hit lights with lasers and other weapons. I've had a ball of a time knocking Commandos down with my AC20 the past few days. Although your still better off with laswer weapons you can track with and spread weapons like SRMs and the LBX.

I wouldn't mind hoping back in a Jenner sometime and seeing if you can properly fight RVN-3Ls now. Still going to be an uphill battle, but maybe not as completely one-sided as it was before.

You can also temporarily counter ECM with TAG - as long as it is outside the ECM bubble.

They be super effective.
Most lights will kill other lights with the streak SRMs.
