I just thought I'd ask since I can't find info on the topic. What all game modes are there, and do you have access to more content with Premium access?

At present, all I have is a launch button that sends me into either conquest or assault (or any). Always the same 4 maps in night or day variant with either assault or conquest. Is that all there is at present?

I have "store" and "faction" tabs on the main game window, but they are greyed out for me, is that functionality just not in yet, or do I not have access as a "free to play" person?

Oh.. and is there a way to buy an empty chasis that I don't know about? I have plenty of parts I'd like to swap from one 'Mech to another and would rather not (or, presently, cannot) spend all that money on parts from a 'Mech that I won't use and would just end up selling (for a huge loss of c-bills)..

Premium time just gets you +50% Cbills and Exp.

The store and Faction tabs are greyed out because they aren't in game yet.

Also there is no way to purchase empty mech chassis.

OH.. and I see it's 300 MC to buy that first extra bay.. are all extra bays 300 MC each, or does the cost per bay go up as you open more?

I actually haven't bought any mech bays so I couldn't tell you. I assume it's 300 for each bay.

Yes, 300MC per bay, no matter how many.

Yeah -- you get 4 free slots, and each additional is 300mc. Equates out to a shy under a buck and a half per slot (like 1.34$ if you buy MC@6.5K, etc). I picked up 4 more, because I feel bad for having spent 30hrs in here thus far and not giving them money

I've been playing this since closed beta and I still haven't given them money. I plan to though! Papa needs him a few more mech bays and some awesome colours I won't buy a mech though, I like working for them (okay, that's a lie. If they came out with a hero-Stalker or Hunchback I'd be all over it

I'd recommend getting TS3 and joining a group. It's a much more rewarding experience

Wait on the colors. They're selling perm, reusable colors in the near future.

They might have fixed it, but I do know there's a nasty little bug that resets the mech's colours. If you're going to [this] out a mech before they introduce 'owned' colours, use the C-Bill only ones (basic).

The maps that you play are random, but you can select the mode (assault or conquest) with the little blue mech button next to the launch button. More are on the way, but the process for creating a map or a game mode is very long and takes a lot of work.

There's a new map coming early to mid February, and another mid March. Completely new ones.

You can join and create groups from 1-4, or exactly 8 in size. There's a third party voip that's possible to download but only works in game with your group and not any of the other pugs, so it's better just to use TS3 or something.
