I did not know where else to put this thread so.... here we go.

Since this patch, I have attempted to play 3 games, after each closing the game and restarting it.

I have horrible frame rates, for no reason at all, even on the lowest settings.

I know my computer can handle high settings getting roughly 25 to 45 fps depending (though I custom the settings a bit to get more around a constant 50-70)

I have no idea how I could fix this.

No changes were made other than I installed the nvidia experience program (though I dont think that does anything at all unless you tell it to), the latest drivers for my video card, and installed the latest patch for MW:O

Other games run just fine in performance, including borderlands 2 on high and planetside 2 on medium.

Posting your specs would help.

Patch Feedback would be the correct Forum.
And please System Specs.

I dont see why I need to post system specs, everything was fine before the patch, all thats changed since last time I played it, was new graphics drivers, and MW:O's latest patch.

Before that the game ran perfectly fine on medium/high details.

Now with it on low details it hovers around 5-10 when looking across the map.

You really need system specs for that? cause its not my computer that is the problem.

Because most Users of AMD GPU's and most of older Nvidia GPU have experienced a BUMP
in performance of about 5-10 FPS. So knowing your GPU and CPU configuration would be
helpfull for the Developers to investigate the Problem.

And Nvidia Experience has Costum Settings for Mechwarrior online, which may override some of your Config's.

I havent actually applied anything or done anything with nvidia experience though beyond installing it and setting up preferences for the program (not related to games)

as for my computer, its an asus G75V gaming laptop.

using nvidia gtx 670M video card, i7 3601qm processor, 2.3 GHz, and 16 gb of corsair vengeance ram. Windows 7 installed.

This happens to me on Windows 8 running Catalyst 12.10 or 13.1. MWO works fine until suddenly it doesn't. And every other game running on 1920 x 1200 on ULTRA isn't impeded in any way what so ever but MWO is. I had to refresh my installation due to some Windows Store bug and that might have resolved my problem from 3 weeks ago. But it started happening again.

before last patch and with old 11.6 ati driver all was working fine besides 4fps bug which is still around.

now i run 13.1 driver and before the last patch all was fine even with my slow pc...10-20 frames on any map.
now...caustic valley turns into a lagfest for me...screen freezes for like 2-3 seconds often and this never was like this before the patch but back when the beta just started where i could not play like this.

it got much better and now its getting worse again.

win7
amd 5200+
amd 6850 OC
3gb ram
13.1 driver

tried different settings on my driver to no avail...my graphic cards is only at 20-30% usage

I can only speculate, i had the same issue albeit on a much more powerful system, uninstalling and deep cleaning anything related to MWO including registry keys, and a brand new reinstall fixed it.

You could just try deleting the USER folder inside of the MWO directory as a short cut and see if that fixes it first.

Mine also dropped ~10 fps. Also while aiming is maybe slightly more fluid my ping is up too. Both from the last patch.

Same thing here. Nvidia GTX 680.

I have an ATI 7850 which was performing well before the patch and definitely saw an increase of FPS with this patch (highest FPS is about ~75). Having said that I am getting much more lag, mechs jumping both on screen and on the map, more even though my pings are the same.

Not sure what is up.

Deleted the user folder, no effect.

I put the detail settings on the absolute lowest, lowest resolution, no motion blur, still terrible frame rates.

I guess all I can do is uninstall and reinstall the game see if that fixes it.

Re-installing the game has helped slightly, however, I am still playing this game on the lowest details now, which wasn't the case before.

It is still mostly unplayable for me.

No idea whats going on.

Try re-installing the game (make sure to delete the game files after uninstall from Add/Remove in C:\Games).

It's helped me before, there is some speculation that the patcher corrupts files, I've had a similar issue before and fresh re-install does seem to help.
