I, for exmaple, am a very superficial person, when it comes for mechs
i do not pilot a mech, that i estetically don't like
in my opinion, legs do play a role in estetics

so...do you prefer chicken legs or humanoid legs on your mech?

i personally prefer chicken legs - so i love my catapult...will definately buy a raven or flea in the future

i find it varies from mech to mech - I think Alex could have designed a 'humanoid' leg stalker and made it work, especially with the reasonable size of the turret on the stalker. Other than that, it's all what makes the mech work.

With the exception of the Atlas and a handful of other mechs, chicken walkers all day. So many of the humanoid mechs either look identical or they look awful, or both.

depends on the mech...while i generally like non-humanoid mechs more ( i like the actual "warmachines") i think an atlas with chicken legs would look kinda stupid

Since I'm strongly against humanoid, robot-looking mechs, anything that makes them look less human-like gets my seal of approval. Thus, I prefer chicken walkers, preferrably with a bulky, tank-like appearance...now if only they'd stop designing mechs with these ridiculous hands.

...and I hope they don't actually intend to follow through with any plans for melee combat because I will just about lose my mind if MWO's track goes from sci-fi mil simm to karate robots.

I like Chicken Legs! Although when they are called that they are less appealing, makes the mechs look more robotic and futuristic, more intimidating mabe idk. Raven's are the coolest of all though.

I like both, but think humanoid legs on some mechs look ridiculous when they should have chicken-walker legs (jenner).
