About 4 years off in the timeline but would we get to see the hollander?

And other than that would the hollander be useful at all given the nature of MWO?

I'll doubt we'll see the Hollander.
#1 (the already mentioned) Timeline
#2 tonnage wise it wouldn't fill any gasp (...but concept wise it would since the hollander is not a classic light mech but more a heavy weapons platform)
#3 It was one of the release mechs of MW:LL (and for some weird reasons MW:O and MW:LL don't 'share' mechs as it seems)

Anyway, the Hollander is awesome.

And not to forget no real variants to work with.

The Hollander can be usefull. It just requiers people to "think outside the box". It's defult variants are ok. But, I imagine swaping the Gauss Rifle for a Sniper Artilery Piece. So, it can still fulfill its role of a Sniper. Realy, the Hallander is made to make use of a single weapon. Which, to many is something that is unherd of.

Hollander and Hollander II (AKA, BZK-F5) that increases the weight by 10 tons. The Hollander II is also featured in MW:LL

They're quirky .A PGI artist redesign (like they did with all other mechs we see) would probably make it amazing.

We currently have the hollander-raven although the gun is in an arm not torso. Just buy the raven with ballistic slots.

That was only a one-way street, MWLL agreed not to add new (previously unplanned) mechs that were already in MWO. MWO has the rights to add anything they want.

It would need a redesign aesthetically, but yes the idea of a light mech gauss sniper is a viable concept.

Personally, I'd like to see the gauss rifle emphasized less. The older illustrations of this thing are pretty goofy.

As for variants I understand it has 2 Not including the Hollander 2....

One has just a gauss.

the other has an LBX 10 and a medium laser.

Why not add a 3rd? its just 1 variant after all.
Like give it a RE PPC or some crap like that.

I'd pilot a Hollander if they added it. I figure that it might be fun to use, and pretty useful if we get tonnage based drops. A heavy weapons light would be a good edition to the line up in any case.

It does need some better art though, I imagine it being about the same size as a Spider with something that looks like the right torso cannon on the Atlas taking up the right torso. The giant gun just looks silly. And I'm perfectly fine with the devs creating a third variant if it means that we would get Hollanders.

I also like that the Hollander art is doing this:

The Hollander is clearly piloted by this kid.

As for the giant gun, that's what a Gauss looks like on a 35 ton Mech. The Hollander wouldn't be a Hollander if it didn't look like that. If you put a Gauss on a Raven, its just a Gauss shooting out of an MG model. Currently no 3D model exists in MWO showing a Gauss, since there has been no Mech (or variant) added from TRO that comes with it by default.
