I've set my weapon groups to my mouse buttons. Meaning 1 = left button, 2=right, 3= middle, 4=outermost left, 5=outermost right.

It all works very well for a few matches, but then the client "forgets" the bindings .. and suddenly i am in the middle of a fight and it doesn't know that my right button is for weapon group 2 and does ... nothing.

Okay, so I die horribly and go back to the options menu to check the bindings.

Errr ... okaaay .... the weapon groups are obviously still assigned to the mouse buttons ... ?

Okay, let's re-bind the keys. Button 1 ... group 1, button 2 ... group 2 ... etc., and back into battle.

And look, the bindings still don't work.

Change your settings, and re-launch the client. See if their applied or not. Its possible the config file was accidently write protected.

I know for me they work fine, but if I hard crash, or if pgi patches then I have to re-map everything.
