A partial workaround is deleting the cache folder on USER\Shaders\Cache

On the first match after deleting the cache, the map loaded with all the textures.
After that the problem returned.

If you are running Radeon-based display adapter, go to VIsion engine control.
Change all Antialiasing, Texture filtering and Framerate control modes to "Use application settings".
Should also fix "Greenish gray"-bug on mechs in every map.

Worked on HD6990 2Gb-version w/ Catalyst 13.1.

In my case (AMD HD6970 13.2b4) setting shading option to medium and deleting shader cache solved the problem.

Edit:
Just found a second workaround which doesn't involve lowering shading option. Creating a profile for MWOClient.exe and disabling "Surface Format Optimization" in Catalyst Control Center seems to have solved the problem.

Missing textures in Frozen City happens to me about every ten matches there.
Running on GeForce GTX 660Ti.
Creating and tweaking a MWO profile under nVidia control center got me at lest 10 FPS increase.

Changing the GPU settings to 'let application decide' (or similar) fixed this for me. Switching down to medium settings, playing a match and switching back up also helped, though only for a limited time, which points in the direction of shader caches ...

Setting Vsync to "on" seem to help also.

Well it just disapears in some games and is ok in others, so i just don't bother. I know the map well enough and enjoy the game anyway.

Started happening to me after the last patch (3rd-person patch).

Ran the map right after the first occurrence in offline mode and everything seemed fine there.

Had a few more matches on the map without problems, but yesterday the problem returned. Running GTX 660 on max settings@1920x1080.

Will try deleting cache, activating Vsync and reducing details to see if any of these fix the problem for good.

I just have to clear the cache every once in a while. It seems to fix the issue for a couple weeks, then it returns. I might try some of these other tips to see if that helps

I've seen this issue crop up again over the last week, since the last patch. Come on PGI....it's almost been 2 years. Time to get this **** squared away already.

Before i took a break earlier this year the "deleting-cache" helped, as long as the game was running (even with 5+ matches in FC). It was on my old computer, i have to add.
I started again in...September?...and since then this workaround doesnt work anymore. And after the last 3 os so patches its a permanent greyish-lightblue-buildings-and-hills without textures mishmash which makes it sometimes impossible to play because the 3dimensional feel is completely missing. its more like a feel of floaing in the air without knowing where top and bottom is...
Frozen City night works perfectly, though!

Edit:
few days later :) so i checked the thing with Vsync on...and it helped so far (3x FC, 3x no missing textures)

I thought I was getting this because I play in stereoscopic 3D. Great then if it's not related to this.

I know blinking objects is but it does not happen very often.

Been an issue since the map was introduced, not fixed since then, not going to be anytime soon. Get use to it, PGI "As intended" standard response does apply. PGI can't fix anything right because they are to busy making money grabbing items for you to buy.

I found having adaptive anti-aliasing on can cause this issue with some games.. (ATI cards)
