A random thought I had. What do you all think of the idea of always having access to the completely bare standard (read, no hero mechs) chassis' while paying for premium time? By completely bare, I mean lacking even equipment that normally comes with a purchased mech, such as the engine. Once your premium time runs out you'd no longer have access to any chassis you hadn't purchased via MC or c-bills.

This would allow one to swap equipment around trying out various mechs, as well as make it easier to do the 3 variant grind; all the while still generating some of the necessary income for PGI to keep the game going for the convenience.

The only hitch I see off the top of my head is that the way "upgrades" like double heat sinks are handled would be tricky to work into the system, perhaps any purchased upgrade could be saved to the account to be applied if that particular chassis were purchased down the line post premium time expiration. That gets a little hairy though.
