Read the poll and answer both questions please.

Personally, I love the new animation, but I would like to be able to turn it off. At some point I know I will get tired of seeing the same animation, but for now it's still got that "new car smell" and I'm enjoying it. Thanks for finally getting bitchin betty working right and the snazzy new animation PGI.

As for the start up time, I'd really like to be able to edit my weapons groups in the idle time before a match starts, and I have a feeling a lot of others would as well.

Edit: If you vote no for either post up why. I would like to know the cons to either of these options.

Ideally I'd rather be able to set weapon groups in the Mechlab but it would be nice to be able to set them during that downtime if we can't.

Yea, something like we saw in mw4 would be ideal, but if they can't fit it into the mechlab, why not be able to use the wasted time staring at nothing?

Agreed, changing them in the MechLab would be ideal, but prematch would be good enough for me.

I love the animation, especially how it's unique for each mech. That must have taken a ton of work, especially matching it to the sound.

The only thing that makes me the tiniest bit sad is that the ambient temperature isn't announced by Betty. That was a nice staple of MW2 and I miss it. But this is still great, fantastic even.

Voted "no" for the second question because it's a very insignificant issue (i.e. rock bottom of the priority list in my opinion) and there's no "I don't care" option in the poll.

For me it would get lost in all the other important audio warnings she has. As it is, when I'm getting near critical damage, locked on, and heat high I tune her out because it just gets to be too much auditory stimuli on top of all the flashing things on my screen.

I like the startup sequence, but it's flair.

The fact that they're implementing flair while the game still has unresolved major issues irks me. Still working on memory leaks? Game lobby's not a big priority? Community Warfare is coming "Soon"™? Maybe two more maps this year? I'm starting to feel a kind of creeping disappointment.

I love this game, and I really really want to play it. I don't want to see it go the way of Global Agenda. Priorities are important. I'm sure most pilots wouldn't care if the inside of our cockpits were drawn in ASCII characters in 4 bit colour if it meant having better netcode and a game lobby.

Well they seem to have improved the netcode greatly with this patch, so you got half of your wish.

I love the start up animation...but I'd really like them to remove the dark screen and the player list once the start sequence begins. It ruins the immersion.

Weapons groups are very fubared right now. They should be assignable in the mechlab like many of the MW titles before this. Also, why after I set my weapons, is it possible to cycle into groups that don't contain any weapons? I dunno how many times I have accidental double tapped the group down button and gotten into an empty group and pulled the trigger for nothing.

How many groups do you assign? The max I can keep track of is 3, I find having more than that and I lose track of what is what in the heat of battle.
