What if the existing maps have a certain amount of features in it randomized when creating a match? For example, sometimes the wrecked tanker will be in Forest Colony, sometimes not. Sometimes the crashed dropship will be in Frozen City, sometimes not. Sometimes a path or cave will be open, sometimes it will be blocked off. Sometimes a bridge will be collapsed in River City, sometimes not. Sometimes buildings will be on fire, obscuring thermal vision, sometimes not. Maybe each map could have about 5-10 features on it that could randomly be determined "on" or "off" by the server before every match.
We already see the same map capable of placing different objects in it, as in the capture points in Assault vs Conquest. Can't certain features of the terrain act the same way?
While we're stuck on the small number of maps, at least this kind of system would retain some amount of freshness and keep us on our toes a bit in every match.
