1) what is AMS arc of fire? Or is it 360 degrees?

2) does it target all missiles (SRMs, LRMs, SSRMs)?

3) Is there any minimum range that AMS cannot work below? I do notice AMS dont really help for streaks and SRMs up close

4) Fun question: Why dont the weaponmakers in 3050 just enable AMS to manual fire mode and it will double up as a much more powerful machine gun?

2) yes, but success rate is much lower for srms/ssrms
3) no, but there's just less time to intercept srms
