Hi,
I am using RadeonPro in a couple of other games and I love it! The 1.1.1.0 preview is great; I can set up OC profile that get loaded when I launch a game, it has OSD (on screen display) that shows pretty much anything you might want to know about your graphics card, and it even supports anti-aliasing injectors and Dynamic V-Sync that can be applied using shortcuts without even exiting the game. It even allowed me to make a call a macro that automatically changes my primary sound device to my headset when loading games! While it works in every other game I tried, it does not work in MWO for me. I know that some of you are using it, so please let me know how you got it running!

I set the trigger to MechWarriorOnline.exe, but there is no apparent effect when launching the game, and the profile stays as "Recently added" and never changes status to "Recently played". So I added all other executables in the same folder as aliases to the trigger. Still nothing. I also made a batch file that calls the executable and used that as trigger, but that did not help at all (as expected). There is not difference if I launch the game from the executable directly or using the Play option in RadeonPro. How can I make MWO use my RadeonPro profile?

Bonus points to answers to these questions:
A: The OSD location is by default toggled by Control+Shift+F1. This works (in any game but MWO of course), and I can also turn it off using this toggle. RP allows me to change it to Control+Shift+F12 and pretty much any other shortcut, but when doing so nothing happens if I use it in game. It works again if I change it back to Control+Shift+F1. What is up with that? Am I missing something?

B: My 7950 can reach stable clocks at 1175 MHz when using Sapphire Trixx without changing voltage. However, RadeonPro can only clock up to 1100 MHz. Also in CCC 1100 is the maximum. In MSI Afterburner one can change the configuration to allow for unofficial overclocking, which then allows me to go to 1175 MHz just like in Trixx. Is there a similar modification that can be done to RadeonPro?

I am on Win7 64 bit, my card is a Sapphire HD7950 Vapor-X (the 8+8 pin version), using Catalyst 13.1 (was the same situation with the latest public beta).

I was able to do a slight work-around with RP after having initial issues similar to yours...

Setup 'Custom Launcher', direct it to MechWarriorOnline.exe

In Triggers, add MWOClinet.exe

That worked for me, only issue that I have with RP display is intermittent, sometimes it won't show the green 'on' display for DVC, it does function correctly though.

As for RP using OD, it uses CCC configuration, so you have to enable the unofficial overclock parameters, not sure if you can do that with RP, doubt you can... I use MSI Afterburner to control my oc as well as a custom fan profile.

The RP version I use is the same (preview) so the work-around should work for you. Can you post back if you have any issues with RP whilst your card is running warm, can you also post temps for me so I can use the data for some slight issues I have been having recently with my 6970 (I know it's not the same card, just the fact that it is ati is enough)

Also, there are 13.2 beta drivers out... They appear to be more stable in framerate, less micro-stuttering at least for me.

To confirm what BornDownUnder said, the trigger should be linked to MWOClient.exe.

I use F9 as the shortcut for the FPS OSD and it works fine. To change position of the FPS number, I just hit F9 twice, rinse repeat till the number cycles to the top right corner where I want it. Not sure if this answers your question about OSD.

I'm using the 1.1.0.6 version.

Thank you for the replies! I tried what you said, following the instructions exactly, but I still do not get RadeonPro to take effect. The profile I created never gets listed as "Recently played" not matter what. It is really strange that I only have this problem with MWO... Did you use any start parameters for the custom launcher?

As for microstuttering, I never had a problem with that, with one exception: Hitman Absolution, so I think I will wait for the official 13.2 to come out before switching.

Tried running RadeonPro as administrator? Right click on the shortcut and click on "Run as administrator"

That did it! You know I did not try that before since when you start up RP as administrator you get this message "RadeonPro cannot be executed with elevated privileges" so I stopped at that point earlier. But that is a very simple and working solution!

I also got the F9 keybinding to work as well, though not yet the unofficial overclocking (core > 1100 MHz).

Glad I could help. GL HF and see you on the battlefield.

Edit: Not sure what you mean by "unofficial overclocking". Are you referring to the Overdrive tab where you enable Graphics Overdrive?

Installed the RadeonPro 1.1.1.0 preview and also the Catalyst 13.2 beta drivers. Seems to have boosted my fps a little which now peaks at mid-30s, quite a few maps start with fps in the low 30's with dips to high teens or low 20's which is definitely way better than I've managed to get before.

Still tweaking and will update this with findings.

Caution: The GPU Overdrive tab seems to be a little temperamental. Sometimes it displays both GPUs and sometimes it doesn't. If this happens and you've already got the profile set up properly before this, DO NOT change anything. It seems to be a display issue only from what I can see.
