AC/DC -- Hells bells. [when I'm strutting to the front lines in an atlas]
AC/DC -- Thunderstruck. [When I'm pounding mechs to a pulp with my catapult]
Black Sabbath -- Crazy Train [When I feel like piloting a scouting mech]
AC/DC -- Shoot to thrill [Ganging up with other Mediums on larger mechs]
<-- Motorhead -- Enter Sandman [When experiencing the thrill and danger of Close Quarters Urban combat]
Of course... Iron Man by black sabbath would be on this list too. Generally all around good for this kinda thing... specially when you're piloting an 85 ton behemoth of steel that turns tanks/mechs in to slag.
Truth be told... Boston... Chicago... the Eagles... and almost anything from the 80s tends to fit particularly well in my opinion.

Because, odds are, about 35%+ of this group is either Mechwarriors from the times before the Clanwar was even a thought. I'd put good money that a good portion of the players on here are 30+.

Yes!!! This really got me thinking about another custom loadout for an Atlas or possibly a Cataphract.
And for that day when the open Beta rolls out:

It just seems fitting to me.

Need more epic - here's some stuff that would be great for background music. Not that any of these would actually get put in, but hey I can dream ...
300 OST: Returns a King
Star Wars: Republic Commando soundtrack: Vode An and Gra'tua Cuun
Lord of the Rings remix of Clint Mansell's Lux Aeterna
Juno Reactor: Navas
John Wiliams: Duel of Fates. Also, a metal version.
To pay respect to one of MechWarrior 4's better parts, Hunter.
Finally, here's some stuff I'd actually like to blare out my 'Mech's speakers going into battle
Dropkick Murphys: Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya, Rocky Road to Dublin, and Shipping Up to Boston
Sixx A.M.: This Is Gonna Hurt
Chimaira: Destroy and Dominate
Hank WIlliams Jr.: All for the Love of Sunshine (Bonus points if you get the reference )
And if I (a light 'Mech lover that plans to pilot a Jenner until something better comes along) alpha some Atlas's rear armor and promptly run like hell, making Three Stooges noises as I go, this will most definitely be coming out of my 'Mech

Rage Against the Machine - Renegades of Funk
And if I'm feeling ridiculous: The Black Keys - Lonely Boy
EDIT: How could I forget? Deftones - My Own Summer
