I just bought a Logitech x530 im getting NO sound in game. Not 2.1, nothing. Da FUQ? Everything else works or has sound. And yes the volume is up. I have a Asus Xonar DG sound card.

It's the sound card that's not feeding sound into the speakers for some reason; the speakers themselves are just analog devices, and will play whatever goes into them regardless of what software generates the sound.

One thing you can try is making sure that particular application's volume is up. Just right click the speaker icon in the taskbar after opening MWO, click Open Volume Mixer, and see if the program is turned up. Do it when the opening videos are playing, so you have something with sound to work with, and see if the Mixer is reporting sound coming out of it. If it's not listed under that audio device, go into Sound in your control panel (you can just search for it in the start menu by typing "sound" as well), and make sure that "speakers" on "Xonar DG" are the default device, and not some other device like HDMI output or S/PDIF (or your integrated soundcard). Again open Mechwarrior, and see which device reports the sound from the game in that sound device menu.

Something has to be receiving game sound; either the volume is bottomed out for the program, or it's going to another device.
