Is The "pretty Baby" Hero Awesome On Anyone Else's Shopping List?

My reaction after a good look: "But wasn't Pretty Baby just a standard 8Q with an exceptional pilot?"
I understand the need for variety, but they should have at least stuck to the spirit of the canon.
That said, I'm seriously considering purchasing. It's strange that I should feel more excitement for the relatively obscure Pretty Baby than for the more famous Yen Lo Wang. Maybe because Danielle Peterson is closer to my ideal MechWarrior than the traitor Xiang.

You can make millions selling a high end product, selling a few units for a high price.
Or
You can make millions selling a high end product, selling a bunch of units for a much lower price with much less profit.
There is even a balance between the 2.
Now my preference would be to sell some hero mechs at a low price, but then sell extremely desired (by us Battletech guys) mechs, like Morgan's, Kell's, etc for the insane price of 30- 50 bucks, the others, reguardless of weight class from 8-10 bucks...

By my calculations that means it comes with a stock XL328 engine! Hang on a minute...that can't be right, can it?

That being said headshotting the damn thing is a tad bit easy (and enjoyable). I look forwarded to removing the cockpit of all the "Pretty-Babies" I stumble upon.

Once the current batch of MC has run out, I'll reconsider my policy of buying every hero mech but for now, pokémon!

You know, they actually never list the model of Awesome in the pilot description. Also.. that write up was 25 years ago.. so she coulda done a whole lotta fine tuning to Pretty Baby by now.
(Of course, I could also be pulling all this outta my ******.. but hey.. can ya say I ain't right? )

But I still have some problems with the actual mechs in the game - there are something wrong with the power balance. I have earlier posted a few lines regarding a potential Atlas hero mech (if there are one at all), - a atlas are intended to give the attacker sweaty palms - not like today - glee in joy for the easy prey.
Why is it that the maps are filled with Raven SSRM mechs..
Well - I hope this hero will change my opinion on the Awesome Mech - every single time I used one - I died very fast.. Yes - I might be a terrible pilot, but I can’t help feeling I’m sitting on a pile of ammo covered in tinfoil.
I will try it .. perhaps!

However, it's going to be ridiculously overpriced. I'm sorry, but spending 25 or 30 dollars on a single mech is just plain dumb; that's the price of an entire video game (actually, more like *multiple* games nowadays).
No, I'm definitely not going to buy it.
