I'm having some trouble finding the info I'm looking for on Hero mechs.

Do you have to be piloting them to get the bonus, or just own them?
If the latter, are the bonuses cumulative for owning more than one?
Are you able to mod/switch weapons just like any other mech, or are they "fixed"?

Hey there.

1) You have to pilot those 'Mechs to get a bonus on your match-reward.
2) Those chassis are totally customizable like every other chassis that's not a Trial-Mech

not cumulative, you only get the bonus during a match you used the hero mech (and of course you can't pilot more than one at a time)

It IS cumulative with the C-bill gain for using Premium time, however (percentage gained are not compounded but do stacked)
