Seriously, I think it hogs up too much stuff to be web-based

CryEngine 3... in a webbrowser?

The day I see that happen, will be the day Half Life Episode 3 comes out

Ok, and?

Do you realistically expect a game identical to this in a browser?

In my opinion, browser based games are generally terrible. It's fine for goofy little time killer flash games, but any game that intends to be more than that should really be a stand alone set up.I had high hopes for mw:tactics, but being that they went with a terrible browser based set up,it's shaping up to be less than it could have been were it a real stand alone client.

If Quake Live can do it...

If Unreal 3 engine runs in a browser...

If Bastion runs in a browser...

If Airmech runs in a browser...

I guess that's what Mechwarrior Tactics is for :)

Crysis 3 barely runs on a modern desktop PC thus far.

Dude, what crazy-future psycho-browser were you wanting to run MWO in, exactly?

That, and the first time I lost a match because of a popup, I'd put a fist through a monitor.

S!

Browser game?! Force PGI to make it a console game only too. MWO is heavy weight stuff, not some FB applet game :)
