Hey Everyone!

Seems my message was lost to the 'net, but there is no patch today; February 5th will be the next patch (also as Bryan mentioned here, we merged the 29th and February 5th patches together.)

So this February 5th shall be a day of rejoicing - much to see and do approaches!

Personally, I kinda guessed because of the lack of anything in the Content and Features Roadmap threads. In fact, it looks like the schedule calls for a patch every two weeks for a while.

Will do! Also, just wanted to add that since we've combined the 29th and 5th patches together, the changelist is HUGE. The CMDS will require OT pay to lug this one around.

I'm pretty pumped for Feb patches... the 5th looks like it's gonna rock and the 19th looks very interesting already!

keep it up guys, you have a lot of support behind you... even if the critics are sometimes louder than all the rest.

No patch is fine, just keep the communications coming. I get a big kick from hopping on the forums and seeing that someone has taken the time to put out a new post in Command Chair, or see answers in the Ask the Devs.

Like today with Paul's PPC post. Awesome, thats what I like to see. Hell, doesn't even have to be as meaty as that, could just be an ongoing, fit for general consumption dev journal.

It is not broken. If you read the last patch notes, you would notice that you have to press "o" before you shutdown now to delay the shutdown.

People have been asking me all day if/when/what we're getting a patch today, and I don't even work here

We waited 10 years. .we can wait 8 days for a patch. Besides the game is much more playable now that before the last patch. Im still enjoying playing it which says alot since I generally stop playing a couple of days after each patch because of the lag, warping etc... So Im good with next week.

and it says that you now have to press p to activate the mech, even while it's overheated. but this doesn't work

i'd say it in their faces that the new overheat-system is BULLSH*T. it worked fine and they broke it

Please, don't do such things. Now expectations rocket skywards again and if your patch will not include UI 2.0, lobby ( this is my point of anger if it is not in ^^), 20 new maps and CW as well as 10 new mechs and custom decals and joystick support and....

People will be angry as you failed to meet their expectations ;-)
