This animation is bugged. Shutdown due to overheat, and when mech comes back online, the view is still obscured by the animation. Aside from the fact that the bug is still not fixed, I do not see why your vision through the window should get obscured in the first place. At this point in time, almost every time I shutdown due to overheat, I cannot see until I manually shut down and start up. Of course by then I am dead anyway from powering down in front of the enemy.

This is really annoying. Please fix this.

Did you report through the support link?

I have this problem a lot as well (though not every time I shut down). It only started happening to me since last patch.

In the past, the reply is that this is a known issue.

As I also stated, I am not as concerned about them fixing the bug as in re-assesing why they believe they need the animation in the first place. Loosing view screen visability does not need to be a "feature" here at all. Looking through a window should not be obscurred at all.

I too have this problem, it gets very annoying very quickly when you can't even tell if your mech is powered up or not.

I have had this glitch occasionally. One solution that worked for me is to power down and up again. That resets the HUD. Though that option isn't always the best one, particularly if you've gotten a little excited in the middle of a giant firefight.
