My battlemech, a hunchback, has a 55AP Alpha Strike. If I come up behind someone and shoot them in the middle of their back, it shouldn't "Disperse" my damage when I'm spot on with an alpha. It should CORE the enemy battlemech in one shot since there's isn't a single BM with more than 30 HP to it's center rear torso.

If I am spot-on with my AS, I shouldn't be seeing a BM still standing there, I should see a dead BM falling on it's face. I've taken very careful aim on multiple occasions and still didn't core my target, even a fellow Hunchback has survived a full-on backstabbing.

You're not making this game very rewarding for tactical play at all.
